You will need to possess three types of traits to be successful as a coach:

• Excellent ability to communicate. You must be able to listen well, build rapport, and observe strengths and obstacles in clients, and be able to communicate in a positive yet firm way.
• The entrepreneurial personality (assuming you are seeking to start or expand your own business). This includes being achievement oriented, able to work independently and be self-directed, and to follow through on your goals – even when it gets challenging!

How Our Program Works/Certification Requirements

Our program combines online learning with teleclasses, and there is no limit to how quickly or slowly you complete the training components.  There is no expiration date for completion. You simply follow the steps below to progress through your training:

1. Enroll in the program online or by submitting an enrollment form by fax or email.
2. Receive your welcome email which will include everything you need to know as a student, including access to the private Certified Transformational Success Coach Facebook group.
3. Receive audio access and handout for each class as presented.
4. Attend live the Certified Transformational Success Coach teleclass training - next series begins Tues., February 21, 2012. Each class includes 60 minutes of interactive discussion of coaching principles as well as 30 minutes of coaching practice/role plays.
5. Submit a feedback form for each class session, whether you attend live or listen to the recording.
6. Begin working with your Practice Development Coach (12 sessions included if you choose the Premium program).
7. Coach clients for a total of 50 hours (this can be pro bono aka free) and collect a Coaching Client Evaluation Form from each. (This is a sort of “internship” that builds your coaching confidence!)
8. Submit your Certification Application and feedback forms from practice clients (plus certification fee) for staff review.  Receive your certification as a Certified Transformational Success Coach (CTSC).  Three years of certification is included with your application.

That’s it!  Within just a few months, you can have your training completed as well as your practice coaching "internship” and be a confident, fully equipped career coach ready to start your own business.  (And remember, with the Coaching Business Liftoff program, you also get help launch and market your business!)
